48Agnes started working with animals in high school, house-sitting a nervous German Shepherd Dog.  Once she got her first doggie daycare job in 2004 at the Hound Lounge here in San Francisco, her fate was set.  Since then, she has worked at other doggie daycares across the bay, a grooming shop, and a veterinary clinic.  Her dog-walking career began in the East Bay in 2010, under the direction of walker-trainers who had graduated from the SFSPCA Dog Training Academy.  She came back to the city and has been walking here since 2013.

Agnes has received First Aid/CPR training, is licensed by the city, insured, and with over 10 years experience working hands-on with dogs and cats.  She has rounded out her experience with books such as Patricia McConnell’s “The Other End of the Leash” and Jean Donaldson’s “Culture Clash,” among others.
